An innovative concept that stimulates puppet creation, “Hybridités” is all about experimentation!

Launched as part of Temps d’M 2022, the “Hybridités” programme brings puppeteers together with artists from other disciplines. The FMTM offers the conditions for experimentation and research through a 3-week residency in various partner structures in the Ardennes. Discover the public performances during Temps d’M.

Hybridité #3

Puppeteer, actress, constructor and director Eve Bigontina likes to deal with taboo, militant and feminist subjects. On graduating from ESNAM’s 11th class, she performed in various shows and created Suzy with Cie Xannax Princesse Guerrière, based on the text Suzy Storck by Magali Mougel. Magali Mougel is an author for the theatre. She has written some thirty plays, most of which have been published by Espaces 34, Théâtrales, Actes-Sud, Lansman and L’Avant-Scène, and several of which have been translated and staged abroad. This hybridity is the first stage of research into writing and puppetry, around a play/musical comedy project entitled VOG. Drawing on testimonies from patients and practitioners, VOG will use song to explore the cruel truth about obstetric and gynaecological violence and raise awareness of the issue.

Hybridité #4

Enzo Dorr is a puppeteer. After ten years of classical theatre training, he joined the 12th class of ESNAM. Eliott Dorr is a photographer specialising in reportage and performance photography. He trained at ETPA Toulouse before starting his career as a press photographer. The meeting of these two disciplines by two young artists just out of school gave rise to a desire to question our relationship with the world of work. To explore the paradoxical state of individuals suddenly plunged into the reality of employment. To expose the contrast between the theoretical being, educated to master every aspect of his discipline, and the being tested by the reality of practice.
