Call for residency 2024
As a major actor in the world of puppetry, the FMTM is also involved in the production of shows and the support of artistic creation. It accompanies the artists in the realization of their project, by offering in particular a support to the production and the reception in residence.
Launched during Temps d’M in September 2022, the Barionnettes are an opportunity to discover puppetry throughout the year in Charleville-Mézières. A regular event during which puppeteers perform in the city’s bars.

The 22nd edition of the Festival Mondial des Théâtres de Marionnettes kicked off on Saturday in the presence of our partners and sponsors.452 performances played by 87 artistic teams coming from 25 countries.9 days of celebration for 150,000 spectators from all over the world.

On the occasion of the bicentenary of the birth of Maurice Sand (1823-1889), the Centre for National Monuments, the FMTM and the Musée de l’Ardenne are joining forces in 2023 to organise an exhibition on puppet theatre.
