With Mythos, Yiorgos Karakantzas delves into his personal history, his childhood whose imagination was deeply nourished by mythology. Mythos, like a phantasmagoria, updates the intimate link between myths, these great universal fictions, and overcoming the trials of life: exiles, tragedies, wars… Between myth and reality, a wandering child in search of his father must find his way out of the labyrinth of his own life. The monsters of reality he has to face are far more petrifying than the Gorgon. In this journey of initiation, he will have to retie all the fragments of Ariadne’s thread… After graduating from ESNAM, Yiorgos Karakantzas founded Anima Théâtre with Claire Latarget. Based in Marseille, the company is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
