An innovative concept that stimulates puppet creation, the “Hybridités” give pride of place to experimentation!

Launched as part of Temps d’M 2022, the “Hybridités” programme brings puppeteers together with artists from other disciplines. The FMTM offers the conditions for experimentation and research through a 3-week residency in various partner structures in the Ardennes. Discover the public performances during Temps d’M.

Hybridité #1

Valentin Arnoux is an actor and puppeteer who has worked with a number of companies and artists, including Théâtre des Tarabates, La Soupe Cie, Basil Twist and Johanny Bert. He is also developing his skills in the disciplines of voice-over, audiovisual and drag. Flora Fishbach is a singer-songwriter whose debut album À tamerci, released in 2017, was a runaway success, winning her a Victoires de la Musique award and over 200 concerts in France and elsewhere.

Hybridité #2

Anaïs Aubry is a director, actor-puppeteer and visual artist, and a graduate of the 12th ESNAM class. She is co-founder of the company Les Enfants de Ta Mère, and also works with other companies, including Arnica and Rêve Général. Her work currently focuses on the direct relationship (of wear and tear and reconciliation) between puppet and puppeteer. Her next creation FoetusProject, supported by the FMTM, will be released in 2025.Charlène Darling is a self-taught musician whose broad and heterogeneous influences range from experimental music to r’n’b, with a strong taste for minimalism, softissonance and improvisation. The texts, too, oscillate between cryptic poetry and straightforward first-degree.

Projects supported by : Eté culturel 2024 – Jeunes ESTivants, a DRAC Grand Est initiative coordinated by Scènes & Territoires; Partner structures: Salle Jacques Brel in Monthermé, Théâtre Louis Jouvet in Rethel, Centre Culturel in Nouzonville.
