Based on the play Manitoba by Romane Nicolas, published by: esse que

To escape the police, two young women flee into a vast primeval forest in Canada, Manitoba, armed only with a survival manual, a few weapons and their deep desire to (sur)live. Inspired by real events, the play plays with the codes of genre and humour and propels us into the land of Absurdity. This step into this foreign, raw forest, neither good nor bad, upsets the runaways. It’s a forced adaptation, a life that burns so brightly that in the end all that’s left is the land that breathes and makes its name ring out: Manitoba. A tragicomedy in Technicolor!
