In this free adaptation of Maupassant’s eponymous short story published in 1887, six years before the death of the writer suffering from syphilis and himself undergoing the onslaught of dementia, Jonas Coutancier moves and splits on the stage, a hybrid figure, an augmented human body, while Solène Comsa, overhanging with her cello and computer, takes the spectator on a journey between melody and sound distortion.
Tuesday 19 at 10am meeting with the artists after the show.
